Guest Speaker: Judith Harold-Steinhauser

What I learned from Judy is that I need to not be so picky about where I apply to do an internship. I plan on applying to be an artist's assistant and galleries as well as applying for magazines now. I know I'll be doing some boring tasks, but, like Judy said, if I keep my eyes and ears open I might actually learn something useful. I've come to the realization that if I don't do the grunt work I probably won't appreciate how far I've gone once I get where I want to be in the future (where ever that might be ). I also learned that I'm going to have to work on my communication skills by working on my shyness and not hiding behind the camera.
