Judith Harold-Steinhauser
Judy provided a great insight into her experiences as a photographer and let us see the passion she has, radiate, as she spoke. Her talk showed that she followed her passion into her working life by walking, talking and doing. She didn't show disdain for having done the grunt work in different positions, but that it all added up to experience. Having gained her initial job in the field, in printing and not being a photographer, and then always developing skills in printing, led her to different positions and then also being a photographer. One interesting point was that she wanted to keep on learning and at one stage realized teaching would allow her to learn and be challenged. This showed us that she was always demanding more of herself and would follow it up and not claim that things were too difficult. Although now retired, she showed that she had enjoyed her working life.
