I'm really glad I was able to get a ride there, (Rachel, I owe you a beer) and that I brought some photographs with me. I originally wasn't going to show anything but after I realized he was a really nice guy and was giving very honest and direct feedback I thought, what the hell? He gave all of us good advice about putting portfolios together and making sure that we have some sort of consistency with our photography. Now that I know exactly where that is I'll probably be going there more often for first friday things.
